     Rotary Retreat at Manor Farm
Above: Manor Farm is located in Pullham Market, near Diss, Norfolk. This
Elizabethan-style farm house complete with thatched roof is one of the many
historic buildings cared for by the Landmark Trust.  Rotarians from District
1060 rented Manor Farm for a week, and treated me and other
Ambassadorial Scholars and Youth Exchange Students to a great holiday in
Eastern England.
Other: Manor Farm has many daily visitors to include this pair of peacocks.
Above: Looking through the den to the kitchen where Lorna was baking some
of her delicious rock buns - Yum!
Above: Manor Farm does not have any modern forms of entertainment such as television, Internet, etc.
Instead, we entertained ourselves with some good, old-fashioned fun.  Every night we gathered around
the fire and played games like Scrabble and Clue!
Above: My Manor Farm companions included Rotarians Paul and Lorna from England, fellow
Ambassadorial Scholar Rinko from Japan, and Youth Exchange Students Ray from Mexico and Denis
from Belarus.  Here we are 'clowning around' while supporting the Comic Relief Charity.
