England

      London
Above: Professor Richard Easton, his wife Patty, and I reunited in London
during their W&J Intersession trip.  My first trip abroad was with the Eastons
to London in January 2000.  You could say they broadened my horizons as I
have not stopped traveling ever since!
Above: I can easily spend hours perusing the antiques and fresh food stalls at this world famous market.
Above: St. Paul's Cathedral as seen from the balcony at the Tate Modern.  The most distinctive feature of
St. Paul's baroque edifice is the dome, second in size only to St. Peter's in Rome.
Above: Trafalgar Square's focal point is Nelson's Column, which features the one-eyed admiral who died
whilst fighting the French at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
Above: William Gladstone once observed that "the best way to see London is from the top of a bus."  I agree!
